GYM KIDS CLUB MANAGER - Brisbane

Kedron Venue $65 000-$85 000 (depending on experience) Must have Gymnastics Coaching Experience 

Our Gym Kids Club Managers form part of the overall Gym Kids Clubs Leadership team under the guidance of the Operations Team. You would be responsible for the overall performance of the Gym Kids Club (Under 5’s – through to Level 5/6). You would work closely with the Gym Kids Operations Team and develop a team of Team Leaders and coaches who are obsessed with delivering on Delta’s purpose. You would live the Delta Core Values, and this would show through every aspect of your teaching and leading. 

As a Coach, you must be caring, and experienced with a desire and passion to help kids grow up in a nurturing environment with expectation and enthusiasm. You must also be able to work in a team and display excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Your role will incorporate coaching on the floor (approximately 12hrs hours per week); mentoring coaches/Gymnasts on the floor (approx 12hrs)and looking after your team of coaches, gymnasts & parents (12hrs/week). You must be comfortable and confident speaking with parents and staff; problem solving and using technology. 

The full-time role will be across 6 days and salary loading will be included for Saturday and/or Sunday. 

You have the very important role of working with each Team Leader in your Club, developing Team Leaders and coaches to build their skills and, ultimately, build future Club Managers. 

As a Club Manager you will be an excellent coach with strong “one on one” mentoring skills. As a member of the Club leadership team you would be exposed to the meeting rhythm, all Delta products, policies and systems. You would also have Objectives and key results to help guide your role as a Gym Kids Club Manager and will
include items such as:
- How engaged your team of coaches are in their own role
- How your team goes achieving 80% of their own goals 
- What your members think of their coach and the club

YMCA Bowen Hills Fitness and Recreation Centre are seeking 2021 Gymnastics Coaches to join our team from Kindy, Recreational and WAG/MAG. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Gymnastics Coach, your key responsibilities will include:- Timely set-up of gymnastics equipment and commencement of the class; 
- Teach gymnastics through the use of suitable progressions and lesson plans in accordance with the YMCA's Mission Statement, Policies and Procedures and the requirements of Gymnastics Australia; 
- Prepared gymnasts for testing or competition within the timeframe on the coaching plan;
- Assist with supervising children during warm up and ensure safety of all children.

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following selection criteria: - Gymnastics Coaching Qualifications (Minimum of intermediate qualification);
- Current Technical Membership with Gymnastics Australia;
- Demonstrated knowledge and practice experience in all aspects of gymnastics; 
- Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team;
- Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills;  
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificates or a willingness to obtain.

MAG GYMNASTICS COACH

EVENT MANAGEMENT & LEVELS GYMNASTICS COACH
– Brisbane Full time $55,000 - $65,000 (Dependant on experience commence January 2021

This is dual Coaching and Event Management role is a full time role Tuesday from 3pm - through to Sunday pm. The coaching role will be between 9-15 hours.

As a Coach, you must be caring, and experienced with a desire and passion to help kids grow up in a nurturing environment with expectation and enthusiasm. You must also be able to work in a team and display excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

We have a wide variety of class types and would look at your areas of strength when deciding which groups to coach. Within the coaching role you will have the opportunity to work with and be mentored by our senior coaching staff or become a mentor yourself if you already have the experience.

The Event Management role will incorporate:
Strategic Planning, Preparation; Implementation, onsite management (for some not all events) and post evaluation.
You will be responsible for the budget of each event and will work alongside the communications team providing input to how the event is promoted. You will need to be competent at using Salesforce reporting to ensure the smooth running of the event.

Events will include:
- Invitational Competitions 
- Regional Competition 
- Mini Tours; Interstate Tours; International tours (eventually) 
- Birthday Parties
- Progress Checks 
- Annual Celebration dinners
- Holiday Clinics
- Education Clinics / courses
- Parent night outs
- School Gymnastics 
To be suitable for this role you must have excellent communication skills and an absolute eye for detail and quality. You must be able to deal with situations in a positive way and to keep the team working with you on task and on time. Knowledge and expertise in Level 1-6 Competition Gymnastics would be a significant advantage in this role.

The Objectives and Key Results of the role are as follows: 
1. Operational plans completed to schedule

3. Participant Net Promoter Score
4. Net revenue to budget
