YMCA Gymnastics Head Coach is an essential component in the delivery of YMCA Gymnastics programs and services.
This position will be required to be responsible for the development pathway for the competitive program and also contribute to our other programs within the facility.
You will be required to complete some administrative tasks, organizing competitions and other gymnastics events and assist coaches’ professional development.
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following selection criteria:
1.Minimum of Gymnastics Advanced Coaching qualifications, or industry equivalent;
2.Current Technical Membership with Gymnastics Australia;
3.Demonstrated experience as a gymnastics coach at a competitive level;
4.Demonstrated experience in developing successful athlete pathways;
5.Demonstrated experience as a mentor gymnastics coach;
6.Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team;
7.Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
8.Excellent customer services skills;
9.Good knowledge of computer systems;
10.Knowledge of developing and running a gymnastics competition;
11.Current First Aid and CPR Certificates or a willingness to obtain;
12.Currently possess, or be willing to obtain, a positive notice Blue Card in accordance with the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000;
13.Achievement of YMCA’s Safeguarding Children Training Certificate and complete annual refresher training.
1.Advanced or Advanced Silver or above Gymnastics qualifications.
REMUNERATION & BENEFITS
Salary Package of between $50k - $60k plus Super dependent on Qualifications and Experience.

Springloaded Ipswich is looking for Gymnastics, Trampoline and FreeG coaches.
Casual position, hours will depend on availability.
Must have a minimum Beginner Coaches accreditation and be willing to work towards Intermediate accreditation.
Must be available for weekday relief work as well as weekend work.

Position vacancy for a new head coach
Victoria Park Gymnastic & Trampoline Club Inc. in Rockhampton, are seeking a WAG Specialist Coach to join our women’s program Levels 4-8. It is expected that the successful applicant will be offered 35hours/week (25 direct coaching and 10 program administration hours). The position will commence Term 3, 2017 or soon as is practical.
If you have the following qualifications and attributes and believe you are capable of delivering quality programs for gymnasts aspiring to achieve competitive goals, regional, state & national you may be just the person we are looking for.
Skills and Knowledge
- Good working knowledge of gymnastics skill progression for gymnastics within the WAG National Levels Program
- Willingness to prepare and present gymnasts for competitions
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to work effectively as a leader of our coaching staff team, inspiring coaching excellence and assisting with professional development of club coaches
- Able to communicate effectively with officials, gymnasts and their parents
