An Inspirational Leading Coaches Conference from Nick Ruddock

Gymnastics Queensland was delighted to host a successful Leading Coaches Conference last week. Fifty five of Queensland’s MAG and WAG coaches, from 22 clubs attended the 3 day event.

We were delighted to welcome Nick Ruddock from Great Britain to present at the conference where he shared his knowledge on areas such as bar transitions, Yurchenko development, physical preparation, acrobatic basics and very importantly, how to reflect on and develop our own coaching styles and programs.

Nick received fantastic feedback, with all coaches walking away inspired and with new ideas to take back to their clubs. All coaches enjoyed how Nick took the skills and drills back to basics so all could relate. Nick was a wealth of knowledge, engaging and an inspiration to all.

A big thank you to everyone who attended and a special mention to Nick Ruddock, our fantastic presenter.
